Personal Abstracts
Künstlerhaus Vienna, digital installation
Co-lab: Christian Zander

Artists and designers were asked to reflect on the future of typography. We came up with the concept of a system made up of 72 geometric parts, of which 27 parts were called at random to generate an abstract composition. A user would judge the composition on a scale from 1 to 9. Which would then bring forth a new random composition. When the user got bored of judging random shapes. The user would press ‘generate’, to generate his ‘personal abstract’ based on his or her judging of the random compositions, and then have it printed out as a ‘personal mark’ on a sticker.
